There can be multiple reasons why your SSS account has been locked by the authorities. One of the major and most common scenarios is that you have violated security policy.
It is also possible that unauthorized access to your account alerted the security system of SSS and they have locked the account.

Go to the SSS official website, its official website link is provided below so you do not need to search. When you open the website, you will see various options in which you need to select the “Member” portal. Click on the option and it will take you to a new page.

It will ask for the username and password before we start the process of unlocking, enter login credentials to check if the portal works. In case the login details are proven inaccurate or the system sends a notification that the SSS authorities have locked your account, then click on the Forget User ID or Password option to reset your account.

A new page will arrive with two options in which you have to select one based on your ease. The first one is unlocking your account through registered e-mail and the second is by answering questions. Here are the solutions of both methods explained below:
- Unlocking Through Registered Email: If you choose the email option, then open the Gmail inbox and check recent emails. Open the SSS security email and tap on the set password. Create a new password and go back to log in to your portal.
- Unlocking SSS Portal By Answering Questions: You will see various questions related to your personal information in order to confirm that the actual user is accessing this account. Answer them and it will allow you to reset the password of your account.

Step 1
Go to the official website of SSS and click on the portal. You will see three options in which you need to select the second one, “Employer.” As you select the category, it will take you to a new page where you can see various options, including Forget USER ID or Password.

Try to log in to your account by entering the credentials, but if it says that the account has been locked, then you need to reset the password. Click on the Forget User ID or Password option that is located below the empty bars. A new page for the authentication will appear.

Enter the employer ID in the top empty bar and it will ask you to clear the captcha. Enter the code in the empty bar. The code may seem unreal, but it is the test to check whether the actual user is accessing the portal or it is an unauthorized access.

As you click on the Submit button the system will send you an email to verify your identity. Read the instructions carefully and if you agree with the conditions then tap the Click Here option. It will take you to a new page where you can effortlessly set your password, but before you initiate resetting the password, read the instructions explained at the top of the screen and once you enter a new password, click on Submit.
What If the Password is Not Resetting?
In some cases, SSS locks an account permanently until the actual user does not access the authorities. The purpose of permanently locking can be different based on the conditions.
